When and where is the gala?

The Tumbleweed Foundation Toys for Tots Gala is Saturday, December 12, 2026, at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Check-in begins at 8 PM, Burning Las Vegas takes the stage at 9 PM, and the event ends at 1 AM.

Is the gala open to the public?

No. The gala is an invitation-only event. Guests should RSVP directly to their sponsor.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. The gala is a 21+ event.

What should I wear?

The dress code is Black Tie Optional, but we encourage guests to dress for the occasion. Think tuxedos or dark suits with a tie, floor-length or cocktail dresses, elevated jumpsuits, and festive formalwear. When in doubt, it’s better to be a little overdressed than underdressed.

Do I need to bring a toy?

Yes. Every attendee must bring one new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. If you are bringing a guest, both you and your guest should bring a toy.

Think beyond the stocking stuffer. We encourage gifts in the $30–$50 range, with a special focus on older kids and teens, where the need is greatest.

Where do I take my toy when I arrive?

Drop your gift at the Toys for Tots tree, then proceed to the GA or VIP check-in entrance. Both entrances will be clearly marked.

What kinds of toys are most needed?

There is a particular need for gifts for older children and teens. Ideas include sports equipment, headphones or earbuds, electronic games, board games, LEGO/building sets, science and STEM kits, art supplies, beauty and self-care sets, cologne sets, makeup sets, hair styling tools, karaoke machines, jewelry-making kits and other age-appropriate gifts.

Can I make a monetary donation too?

Yes. Monetary donations are welcome in addition to your toy.

Will drinks be available?

Yes. Drink tickets will be available for purchase with cash or card. Proceeds benefit Toys for Tots.

Will dinner be served?

The evening is centered around live music, dancing and drinks, so guests should plan to dine before arriving.

Who is performing?

Burning Las Vegas takes the stage at 9 PM.

Are VIP tables still available?

Yes, a limited number of VIP tables are still available. Contact Logan at LNadolson@twinmanagementllc.com for availability.

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes. A special $199 gala rate is available at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. Please book early to help guarantee availability and special pricing.
